Komatsu Completes Acquisition Of American Battery Solutions
December 2, 2023 — Komatsu, through its wholly owned subsidiary in the U.S., Komatsu America Corp., has completed its acquisition of Detroit-based battery manufacturer, American Battery Solutions Inc. (ABS). By integrating ABS’ battery technology with Komatsu’s knowledge and network, the company will be able to develop and produce its own battery-operated construction and mining equipment.
